Recently I graduated from the University of Calgary with my Masters of Architecture. Prior to attending UofC I was a student at Thompson Rivers University completing my undergrad in Architecture & Engineering Technology. I also attended The British Columbia Institute of Technology and completed their Building Design and Architecture program.
My education at these institutions has allowed me to gain a strong knowledge and understanding of software’s such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino and Adobe Suites. This has led me to be one of the top students in the School of Architecture Planning and Landscape at UofC allowing me to continuously grow and receive recognition from the head of our faculty.
From a young age I have been surrounded by construction. My family owns a developing company with projects ranging from residential to commercial buildings. Furthermore, I worked as a framer for approximately six years as well as a drafter at ProCAD Design for one year. My work experience enables me to have a strong understanding of key building process and materials all while giving me the opportunity to talk with people in all areas of the construction process.
I seek to expand my knowledge in the industry, enhance my skills, and build a strong career as an Architect. As well as, in the long-term obtain my AIBC Architecture designation. My supervisors and colleagues have told me that I am enthusiastic, hardworking, and that I learn quickly. I am confident in my ability and believe that I can meet or exceed your expectations.
